Realtors are a dime a dozen. There’s a bunch of great ones, and a bunch of terrible ones. I strive for excellence. You’re in good hands with me and here are a few things about me I think inform my skill and performance as a real estate agent.
I skipped first grade. People make fun of me for this but to be quite honest I will still take this as evidence that I am in fact smarter than the average person, which should count for something. Shouldn’t it??!!??!
My job history. I worked as a waitress from age 18 til mid 20’s. I learned to excel in a fast paced, demanding environment, how to withstand ridiculous requests and criticism, and how to manage my time and workload with maximum efficiency.
I stopped waitressing when I got my bachelor’s degree from UD, and pursued a career in human services. I worked for child protective services which not only gave me a great understanding for the spectrum of hardship in the world, but further developed my keen sense of caring for others and empathy in all I do. Not to mention, my education involved sharpening technical skills in listening, communication, and understanding others. If you don’t know how this is beneficial in real estate, I bet you haven’t bought a house yet. 😉
Shopping is my favorite hobby and always has been. I have a keen sense of consumer trends and I know what buyers want – therefore I know how you should prep and market your house for sale. I am also the DIY/thrift queen; I’m well suited to advise you on low investment ways to maximize improvements. (Pro tip – fresh paint and a deep clean go A LONG WAY!)
I’m actively IN the market. My husband and I have bought at least one investment property each year for the past 6 at least, without regard for market conditions. We regret ZERO. They have all gained equity and provided tax benefits. Who better to trust than someone who is also actively buying??? Much to my chagrin, I manage all of these rental properties we own, so I am an expert in local rentals. My experience isn’t just professional, it’s personal.
I am smart, confident, I am caring and empathetic. I will be your advocate. I work hard, I am an excellent communicator, transaction manager, I am honest and transparent. Integrity and authenticity are my core values. It’s of no benefit to me to mislead you or do you wrong! Maybe I’ve ‘only’ been doing Real Estate 6 years but I know we have ALL worked with someone that’s “been doing this 25 years” but absolutely sucks at their job and we wish they would retire already (don’t act like you don’t know what I mean!!!) Anyway, let’s just meet in person and you can see what I mean.
